Children’s Lighthouse Brings an Elevated Experience to Franchisees

As fathers themselves, brothers Pat and Mike Brown recognized that stress for families in their hometown of Fort Worth, Texas — parents didn’t want just another babysitter for their children. Rather, they were looking for a trusted educational childcare option that would aid in their child’s development. With that in mind, Pat and Mike opened their first Children’s Lighthouse school in 1997 and the rest, as they say, is history!

What Makes Us Different?

We give our franchisees the tools, guidance, and opportunity to operate a profitable business that is designed to give children a safe, loving place to learn, make friends, and build confidence. This support includes four weeks of training: two weeks at the Children’s Lighthouse home office, one week of in-school training before opening and one week of post-opening training in your school. 

No prior experience in education or franchising is required. Our comprehensive training program will teach you about the industry and our operational model. Our most successful franchise owners have a passion for children and a desire to improve the lives of families and communities. Business and management experience is helpful, as is a willingness to get out in the community and build relationships with partners and customers. There are no required educational training or certifications needed – simply an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to impact young lives.
